Adel had the opportunity to obtain a wide knowledge in the healthcare industry: research, marketing and administration through working in each of these areas over the past 13 years. He joined the International Medical Center (www.imc.med.sa) in 2005, where he helped establish service lines of the IMC from conceptualization to execution. In 2006, he was appointed as the Marketing Director where he oversees market research, media planning and production, responsibility and sustainability, e-Marketing, Customer Relations Management, public relations and events management. During this venture, he built a team of healthcare marketing specialists who led the efforts of planning and executing various initiatives for the hospital and launching new service lines.
In 2013, Adel was appointed as the Patient Experience Director, the first post of its kind in a hospital in the Kingdom, where his team initiated a comprehensive service facelift program for the patient’s experience in the hospital. The Patient Experience team were the first to apply a modified version of HCAHPS in the hospital for their discharged patients, the outpatient department and the ER. This helped drive various Process Improvement (PI) initiatives and benchmark the hospital’s performance against international best practices.
In 2014, Adel founded Health.Links, a specialized healthcare company that works in partnership with Press Ganey –the Global leader in driving improvement in healthcare- with the sole intention of improving patient experience in the Middle East through developing programs that would help patients receive the care they deserve and support them in their healing journey.
Adel obtained his Masters in Biopharmacy from King’s College London of Science in Pharmacy from the Applied Science University, all with distinction.
